SKAPE is committed to engaging in wider political and societal debates about the relationship between knowledge and governance. We aim to encourage rigorous and critical thinking about current discourse and practices on knowledge exchange, impact and evidence-based policy-making; and to help inform/design effective structures and practices for drawing on different types of knowledge.
SKAPE members have extensive experience in advising and carrying out research for governments, international organizations and NGOs. We have carried out consultancy work for:
The British Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the European Commission, the European Parliament, OECD, the UN Global Commission for International Migration, the UN High Commission for Refugees and multiple non-governmental organisations.
We offer a range of services, including:
- Lectures or bespoke training on issues in and approaches to the use of knowledge in policy-making
